Why would you want to sell someone on a product or service that you don’t believe in yourself? It will come out in all of your marketing. You can’t fool people. However, if you do have a great experience you’re marketing will sing. And besides, it’s just the right way to do business. If you can’t find something good in a product don’t promote it. Bottom line.
2. Improve yourself. This is a must! I recommend reading or listening to at least 15 minutes a day in an area you’re looking to improve. Business and self-help books are a great place to start. Also, keep yourself abreast with what other leaders in the industry are doing and include this in your reading.
3. Don’t expect your upline to hold your hand. In some cases your upline may be a star. Sometimes that may not be the case. You may even be your upline’s first signup. Regardless, it’s important to get at it by yourself and not look for someone to hold your hand. Network marketing success comes down to being a leader and growing. Not living in your upline’s shadow. Now if your upline is very helpful in areas where you can use development, by all means take the help. But being dependent on your upline to take you to the promise land is a surefire way to fail.
I see so many people join a successful network marketing company solely based on their upline and expect to get everything handed to them on a silver platter. Big mistake. Be a leader from day one.
4. Find a way to present your business to people on a massive scale daily and get leads. If you don’t have people coming into your business daily your business will sink like the titanic. With the internet this is pretty easy to do these days.
Over the course of a few months all of the work you have done will start to pay off.
5. Share with your downline and help them get to where you are. Without other successful distributors in your business in network marketing it’s tough to build a business. Network marketing is about building leaders. The more leaders you have the easier your job will be.
So share your successful practices with your downline immediately. Some networkers will try to keep their stuff a secret. This is a huge mistake. If you develop others you can make a fortune in network marketing. Don’t try to save people, but if you have people who are working the business, give them everything you have.
